Experienced molecular biologist and neuroscientist with 10 years of research experience in extraction and purification of biomolecules (DNA, RNA and proteins) using appropriate methodologies. As well as I have expertise in cell culture, fermentation, pharmacology and toxicology, RT-qPCR, Patch-clamp electrophysiology, microscopy (confocal, SEM and TEM), RNAseq, and mathematical modelling. During my current study, I initiated research on cannabis which has become the mainstream research in the lab over the years. Being a senior PhD student in the lab, I was responsible for ensuring that lab members are following proper work and safety protocol. Because of the collaborative nature of my research, I efficiently maintained communication and a collaborative work environment by establishing productive relationships within and across departments. Over the years, I excelled in preparing technical reports, writing SOPs, and scientific manuscripts.
